Our thermal stream
The Gorello thermal stream flows within our property.
A “wild and natural” corner is available to our guests where they can bathe in absolute relaxation in close contact with nature.
The stream is usable except in particular weather conditions, as the water could be diluted by small non-thermal streams (it is therefore not usable in winter and cold periods).

HISTORY
Etruscans and Romans were the first to appreciate the benefits of Saturnia’s thermal water.
Their benefits were scientifically demonstrated by the chemical analyzes carried out by the University of Pisa in 1918. Today it is known that this water, rich in mineral salts and two specific gases, acts on the circulatory and respiratory system with hypotensive effects and on the liver with purifying properties. Drinked at the source, on an empty stomach and in small doses, it facilitates the digestive processes. It exerts a natural peeling action on the skin and has anti-aging, antioxidant and anti-inflammatory actions.
