Visit to the small villages: Montemerano and Saturnia

The distant village of Saturnia rises on a travertine plateau overlooking the renowned thermal springs.

The Terme di Saturnia, known throughout the world for its beneficial properties, are in 1st place in the world in CNN’s TOP20.

The small medieval village of Montemerano, located about 5 minutes from Saturnia, was built during the 13th century by the Aldobrandeschi family on the highest part of the hill. You can enter the medieval alleys and visit the splendid church of S. Giorgio.

Visit to the towns: Manciano and Pitigliano

Manciano, located about 20 minutes from our facility, is a characteristic town perched on top of a hill and defended by solid walls.

From the tower of the Sienese keep you will enjoy a breathtaking view over the entire Maremma.

Our facility is also about 30 minutes from Pitigliano, a characteristic historic center built on tuff and known as “the little Jerusalem” due to the historical presence of a Jewish community.

Visit to the parks: Maremma Natural Park

The Maremma Park, overlooking the Tyrrhenian Sea and the Tuscan Archipelago Park, extends for approximately 25 km and is surrounded by marshes, pine forests, cultivated fields and pastures.

The Park also offers the possibility of visiting on horseback, by carriage, by canoe and by bike.
